From Fleece to Dye Pot – Preparing & Dyeing the Base for This Purple Gradient
Today has been one of those wonderful, full studio days. I’m still winding skeins, measuring, and gently dipping fibre into the dye pot. Work has officially begun on this new colourway: a rich, velvety deep purple that gradually softens into lilac, lavender, and the most delicate mauve hues. A Gentle Shift in the Studio – SSC Prep, New Yarn Arrival & Labels Ready
Today unfolded a little differently than expected, but it felt full of quiet, happy progress. I spent some time fine-tuning my Stock Solutions (SSC's) for the purple gradient sets. Everything is now measured, balanced and ready. So Monday the dye pots will come alive with that deep velvety purple graduation.
